昨天我打算和我的姐姐一起去买衣服。 因为我的车轮扁了所以我们叫我的妈妈的公司的司机开车。
我的姐姐不会搭配衣服。 她的衣服不好看所以叫她买新衣服。 上次我去的购物大厦关门了所以我们去新的购物大厦的。 商店里的购物大厦有所有种类衣服店， 食物店， 首饰店和很多饭店。
在第一个店我们看员一个样子像原始森林的鸟的店员。 她有亮红色的头发黄色的鞋子青色的衬衣和短的蓝色的裙子。 我告诉我的姐姐， “别在这里买东西。” 但是他喜欢穿的衣服所以买了一样的裙子。
第二个店是我最喜欢的。 我上个星期在这里买了副我最喜欢的耳坠子。 店员的样子一像有很多钱的人。 她有漂亮长的卷的头发， 毛衣配很好裤子和银的和珍珠像很小的星的食品。 我的姐姐说姐如果穿那个人的衣服， 她会看上去像个傻瓜。 我认为店员的奴人有很高的品味。

....that I haven't written here in SOOOOO SOOOO LOOOOONG!!!!!
I just posted chapter 31 of LandD:ITB up in Fanstory. Awesome reviews. Trying to figure something out for NaNo. I hav an inkling of an idea. Something I can use real world/sci-fi/and fantasy elements in. (God-forbid I write something SIMPLE now!!!!)
Raye is a simple girl living in the real world, real time.
Anak is a pristess in training in a world full of magic, beasts and danger.
Mayven is a cadet in a universe filled with technology, aliens, and an impending war.
Three girls from three universes. What do they have in common?
-All three are from earth
-All three have just lost their parents due to terrible fires
-All three look exactly alike
-All three must work together to destroy the un-named darkness that threatens to unbind the three universes
HOHOHO!!!
Thinking of naming it "Daughters of the Twilight"....
What do you think? Suggestions? Ideas? Opinions?

I just added chapter 30 to "Legends and Destiny: In The Beginning" and realized I'm up to page 130!!!!! That's like....almost 300 pages in book format!!! wOOt!!!!
I WAS going to post it here, but I figured most people would run screaming and delete me, so give me a PM if you are interested in me sending it to you. Also looking for reliable people to edit it. :P

Wow, I like, haven't updated this in almost 6 months...terrible-ific-ness!!! XP
So, I'm still overly optimistic that LandD: ITB will be finished by summer, though how, I dunno. I'm only halfway done really. :P With the finished ending, I'm about 60K right now. After discussing matter with my writing consultant (AKA Jen!), it's gunna all be crammed into one book, as a stand alone, and as a prelude to the greater saga.

They were in the middle of a war. And she had lost.
Strange sounds escaped from her throat as she kicked at her captors, waving her arms franticly, squirming in every position possible just to find some freedom to move.
But they had her trapped. Trapped good.
Word had trickled down from the top that the prisoners weren't being interrogated at all. Nor were they being sent to the strange concentration camps she had been sent to last year around December-January. She wished more than anything to go back to hers. Compared to this hell, it was heaven.
Muscles fatigued from her struggles, she reflected briefly of the past few months. She should have known something was up when her captors started stuffing the crap out of her, feeding her some of the best grains she'd ever eaten.
Well, now she knew why.
But it was already too late. Nothing was going to save her now.
Staring at the blood-coated floor, her neck stretched to near breaking, she screamed...
"GOBBLE GOBBLE!"

I SO TOTALLY got on peoples cases (with the help of Jian, of course!) over the weekend about GETTING MY FOOKIN' GALLEY DONE!!! And it SHOULD BE ready today!!! YAY!!! SO now I'll HOPEFULLY get to look at it tonight and see what needs to be done with it. YES!!! wOOt!!!

...it's been about a month since I've posted in THIS journal, but then again, it's been that long since I've actually WRITTEN anything!!! urk~
Although it's a Saturday here, it's not National Holiday anymore, so I have to make up my Thursday's class today. Urk again!!! But I already told Jian after 9:40AM, I'm coming home and doing nothing but writing....he agreed, so...MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Wanna start posting my NaNo ideas, and write a chapter or two of LandD:FC and maybe start tying out some of an idea I had for a SCI-FI!!! Wow.....it's been like, YEARS since I've written anything Sci-Fi....wOOt!!!!

Ok, WHY am I excitied? I have a Chinese publisher who is willing to publish, at a VERY low price, LandD for moi!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They supply an ISNB, copyright, all that good shit. It'll eb ahrdcover, with Jen's coverart, and all the necessary edits. I want to try and hand EVERYTHING to them by the end of next week so they can print off a gally for me. Hopefully, I'll have 200 copies by Christmas to sell.
I've emailed my mom for contact info for some of the local Rochester book stores. Going to see if they will be willing to carry a few copies for me. Also going to email Jen (since she's not online today :( ) if she could do the same for Toronto, and be like, my relations agent up there. Now, if I could just find someone in SF....
If I'm lucky, I might try and see if I can find a few places in Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Hong Kong to do the same for me. I want to see if Chris is still interested in doing the website for me, but I don't think he's even talking to me anymore. :( That worries me...I miss him...
ACK, but this is my WRITING LJ, no more about Chris!!!
So yeah. I think I'm going to sell the books for $15 USD, plus S&H. Why so cheap? I don't think it's right for books, even hardcover, to cost so damned much. It's not like it's gas or anything!!!! And besides, I can print them here in China for like, nothing.

Ok, so, I've just recently written a short story to a picture on Livejournal called "Light". I thought it was pretty okay, as did Jen. I wrote it in an old style of something you might see in old Asimov magazines. Okay, the response I got?
"I am not sure what I think of this story. It was well written and it kept the reader wanting to know more. But when I got to the end, I felt there was something missing. I came away wondering: What was the sickness? What did the beings look like? (both of them) Why is Daemon special?"
First of all, (if you look at my previous entry and check it out!) I describe ONE of the people's, and he's obviously Human (besides the point that the picture GOES RIGHT ALONG WITH IT AND SHOWS A HUMAN BOY WHOM I DESCRIBE!!!).
And this is not the first comment I recieved like this. It's actually a carbon copy of about 5 or 6. >.<
So, what is MY response?
"As for letting the reader KNOW things... I decided to NOT do that. Why? 1)I'm telling a story about these people, and 2) I'm telling a story about ALL people. On a deeper sense, isn't this what happened to most people who were "discovered"? The blacks, Asians, Native Americans.... as I was writing along, I almost felt this could be ANYBODY'S story, and I realized I wanted people to see that parallel as well. The "Sickness" could be smallpox, bubonic plauge just to name a few. What do the beings look like? Well, maybe they look like Humans. Maybe not. That's for the reader to decide.
Daemon, if you know anything about religious names, is one of the names of the Devil. Why did I choose this one? It sounds like I made it up, like it's not a real name. But if someone were curious and looked it up, they'd see that the agressor is Devil, and on a deeper sense, all agressors have been Devils. When white people invaded other countries, we were concitered the "White devil".
In all honestly, I wanted the reader to feel that hollow space of unanswered questions, because only then could they find their own, personal answers. To me, this was more futuristic, the written history of what we will do to the future people we will meet, just as we've done to the people in our history.
As for the picture...the boy standing at the tunnel's entrence, with dark shorts, light, oversized shit and shoes..... that's the kid from the pic...maybe you read over it.... ^^;

Okay, so. I know not what to do anymore. -_-; Writing styles nowadays, I've noticed, hand readers nice, kyute lil' prose will everything in neat little, comprehendable packages - characterization, setting, description, meaning, questions with answers, answers with question. Most books I walk away from now leave nothing on me. I can close the book and move to the next. Books I read when I was younger let me feel a lingering pull when I was done.... made me want to contemplate things for a bit.
Uhg, a literary world where the written word is as easy as pulling on a shirt...I dunno if I like that world.... it should be like climbing MT.Evarest... a little struggle, with fantastic personal rewards. >.
